Gotta start em young!

There was only one kind of fan in our house growing up, the Suns fan. And the tradition is continuing in my house, GO Suns!

Foot and Mouth

That is correct, people can get foot and mouth disease, or rather infants and children can get it. I had no idea, but Audrey got it from somewhere. The poor little girl has sores on the inside of her mouth and blisters on her feet. It lasts from 7-10 days and there are no medications for it. She is on the up swing though and feeling better even though she still has sores and blisters. She has started sleeping through the night again, which is very exciting for us who are very spoiled sleep wise considering she has slept through the night since she was 1 month old. Hope none of yours ever get it!

So I've been too depressed to comment on the suns in the playoffs, but Sundays game has given a glimmer of hope. They play again Tuesday, so everyone cheer them on so that they aren't out for the season!

Congrats Steven!

Big Congrats go out to Steven this week. He recieved the offer of an internship at Disney Interactive. They are the part of Disney that does their computer games. We have decided that he should take it, even though it isn't a guaranteed job at the end of it. He was told that they will most likely offer him a job either during it or at the end, but they couldn't say a definate yes. So, keep us in your thoughts and prayers that they will be able to see all of his natural talent and pick him up quick. Also, it is in Salt Lake, so we would get to stay in Utah!

Last week

Feeding herself Yogurt, and yes some did actually get in her mouth!
She loves playing in our movies and she brought me Toy Story. I asked her if she wanted to watch it, to which she replied YEAH! She ran sat down and watched almost the entire thing! I big accomplishment for someone that rarely sits still
Our little monkey
She Loves to swing.
So this last week I've been adjusting to watching another little girl full time. I've found it is actually easier when you have two, at least when they are close in age. I did manage to take a couple of pics of Audrey for those of you that have requested them.

Just a little story . . . or two

So no new pics right now, but a couple stories from the last couple of days.

First one, we turned Audreys crib into a toddler bed a couple of weeks ago and she does really well in it. On Friday though, instead of coming a knocking on the door like she normally does when she is awake, she decided to take off her diaper. From there she proceeded to pee on the bed and pooped on the floor. When I went in to get her after she knocked on the door, like she normally does, she took me over to show me the poop and looked at me like, why is that there it is so gross. And I agree with her, it was gross.

second story, this one at the beginning of nap time. She got out of her bed and got the A&D butt cream off of the top of her shelves and proceeded to rub it in her hair. I washed it with her normal soap, but that wasn't strong enough. Then I talked to my mom and she suggested dish soap, which appears to have worked. It wasn't quite as gross as the poo, but it looked so gross, like we haven't given her a bath in about a month.
