Dad did her hair, what do you think?

Enjoying the late warmth

On Saturday we all went to the park to take advantage of the late warmth. Here it is, middle of November and we could go out without a jacket. Truly exciting for us. Audrey had a lot of fun playing on the swings and the slide. You do have to wonder if she is walking the dog, or vice versa though!

This is funny

Can you imagine some guy going 90 mph on the interstate with these balloons trailing a few yards behind him? Instructions for having a good time on the road.

1. Tie missle balloons to your car.
2. Drive like there is no tomorrow.
3. Watch people freak out

For the past two weeks Audrey has been on a sudoku craze. She will sit there and flip through the pages while acting like she is writing down the numbers (this is because she sees her dad doing this). This is great and horrible at the same time. Great, do to the fact that my daughter is a genius. Horrible because she is such a sponge on picking things up so quickly. Now i have to watch what i am doing all the time

Ok everyone, here is our blog. Ta Da! We're still trying to figuire out the best way to do things, so if any of you have any suggestions and/or tips we are more than open. We started by recapping the end of September and all of October and will go from there. So add us to your favorites and away we go!
We had the opportunity to spend a couple of days with Sterling before he left on his mission to Chicago, IL. We were so excited to help him get ready and see him off at the MTC.

To start off the scary season, we decorated our patio with tombstones and a spooky tree that Steven created. The finishing touches to the decor were these Jack-o-Lanterns. Melissa scooped out the guts and Steven carved the faces. We have to put that creativity to some use!

Audrey turns 1!

For Audrey's birthday we went to Yellowstone National Park with Melissa's parents and grandparents. It was a lot of fun, just a lot of time in the car for a one year old! Audrey did amazingly well and was treated to her first chocolate cake and ice cream when we arrived back in Provo.
